Terrorism at its worst

Over here in the UK, the media have blown some of this terrorism stuff out of proportion. What they haven't inflamed enough are the important facts like british security and parliament are poor, sorry VERY poor.
Prime example please read below:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4797945.stm

This article disgusts me, firstly for the pure fact that they felt that they had to mention that the guy in question was an Asian. I am wondering that by stating this fact might have made them feel better about themselves. What people seem to forget is some of britains well quite a large crowd of britains prestigious and maybe not so prestigious white men are muslims. So don't go out of your way to stop someone just because they look the part. Looks can be and are deceiving.

Moving onto another report on a terrorism scare that seems to have had an oversight:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/4796199.stm

I don't think britain put enough emphasis on the fact that people are now and have been for a while training young children to be terrorists, so terrorist or not that child could have been a potential threat to many peoples lives.
As for butter wouldn't melt, some of todays childrens are the biggest *%$?& - i wont say the word but you know what i mean - why doesn't england come to its senses and for once try and stay one step ahead of these things rather than 5 steps behind. This is the sort of time that i really wish my mum and dad did decide to live in the US.
Along with all this terrorist action normal peoples lives and rights are being pushed away from them.
Typical time at the airport flying out to the US read this article below it really makes you think what is this country coming to:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4789593.stm

So as it states: "Passengers boarding US-bound flights and any items they are carrying, including those bought in departures, will be subjected to secondary search at the gate. No toiletries, cosmetics, drinks or liquids purchased in departures will be allowed on board, but food is allowed." - Yes i can understand after 9/11 the need for extra security.
However stating that you are not allowed to buy things in the airport and take them with you is ridiculous - allowing one set of passengers the right to buy and antagonising the passengers flying to the US is unfair, they should at least imply the rule that you can order and collect on the way back. One rule for one and another for someone else - it shouldn't be allowed. But hey it has been going on for a while -
Terrorists - Welcome to the UK.
British citizens - Fuck off!

I don't know?
Any opinions - oh and sorry if i went on a bit.

I had heard the UK rules were a lil more strict. I heard you all cannot have any carry-on luggage at all.

As for the hand luggage thing, i think like many people have said the media have blown things right out of proportion. You can take certain things as hand luggage but i think the only destination that everyone is strict is the US which is a damn shame as i should be comin over real soon! But that wont stop me.
As soon as i have the $£$£$£$£ i will be rollin up in the US like biatch/nigz im heeeeerree!!
