PART DEUX...

So the continuation of my previous.
Where did i get to . . .

Oh yeah -
So after my night of nuff nuff!! - Day 2 began.

My Auntie from the country came up to the big smoke (London) - i didn't have to drive to pick her up this time which was a good rest - i was still recovering from the night before.
I thought it was only good manners to drag myself out of the warm, comfortable bed and go back to mine and say my hello (she is like my second mum after all).
So i dragged my caboos out of bed into the bath and i must have fallen asleep in the bath as i woke up shivering because the water was so cold.
Jumped out fixed my hair, brushed my teeth and slung on a tshirt and some jeans with my signature timbs.
I was ready to go.
COLD COLD COLD.
I had to run all the way to my car which was at least half a mile down the road - don't smoke but puffing and panting like a trooper - this is a sign - EXERCISE is needed.

The rest of the day was pretty much a monotonous blah.
Shopping for my plantain, sweet potatoes, yams, casava etc. You know how we do!
Cooking for the fam and when i say fam all 10 including some of his.

Ice skating was on the agenda but didn't make it to the rink on time - so that trip was postponed until Tuesday evening when i finished work.
Still glowing about my purchases from the day before i went back to the land of nuff nuff!!!


Day 3 - Friday

Woke up around midday - warmed up yesterdays dinner - which tasted pretty good apart from the now dry rise and peas - didn't really fancy gravy in the morning. Made a soup out of the rest.
Did nothing but look on the net all day for party closes for the christmas season. - Should have come on here and done my post then - Sorry!!!

My leave from work officially over but the weekend seemed to be looking up.

On the Saturday i went to see my goddaughter and the little critter is now pulling herself up and trying to walk.
Which reminds me i have to buy her a walker - damn my pocket is BONE DRY - just got a BIG phone bill and not happy as i was told my minutes would be big for the duration of my contract but seem to have been cut so i had to pay for the excess calls what a load of bullcrap.

Back to Work

So, it is now monday and i am back at work after my 5 day weekend.
Not happy - really not happy.
After taking those 5 days 3 of which should have been work days i sat back and didn't really do much.
At first i was thinking that i should use these days to do the things that i don't get to do when i am at work.
Little did i know that i really wouldn't do much if i was off work as i would be relaxing.

So day 1 - I was ready to go.
I got woken up at the earliest hours of dawn see the previous post for all details. Once up i sorted out my broken internet connection at home.
Once that was done i made breakfast with tea (peppermint and lemongrass with sugar) which was great.
After an hour of rest and relaxation to compensate for my early risings i went shopping or should i say got taken shopping. Even better.
I came home equiped with a new pair of boots and as stated in the last post (i think) a sexy green dress.
So it wasn't at all a bad morning sloping into afternoon.

Later in the evening i slouched onto the couch until 2:30am the next morning bear in mind that i was asleep for most of that time but it was great.
So that is wednesday out of the way - the next couple of days were kind of a blur.
If you remember reading that i had broken up with my significant other well somehow he is back in the picture and when i say the next couple of days were kind of a blur i think that is how we say it in the UK south london (Saff london - for the illustrious Mr Mack's benefit) "Nuff said".

Have to run off for a while to do some work - sorry peeps will continue when i have finished my monday pile of paperwork.

TAKING A BREAK FROM THE REAL WORLD


So as i embarked on the first day of my 5 day weekend from work i was woken up by my mum choking on a tablet.
So me expecting to sleep through until around 10 maybe 11 as i didn't have to get up. In the midst of my early morning slumber i heard "she's choking, she's CHOKING" when there is an emergency situation my dad is never the sharpest pencil in the box.
So i can hear in the background *cough*COUGH*WRETCH*.
She was getting no help as all he was doing was flapping around like a headless chicken. So i dragged myself from my warm bed and into the bathroom where my poor mum was gasping for air.
I held her up over the side of the bath and put her head in my hand and wacked her back. The pill that she had tried to consume bounced off the wall and down the plug hole.
She could breath!!!
I was so happy that she was ok that i couldn't go back to sleep - i cooked her breakfast.
I sorted out my manked up internet connection and took her shopping in the christmas sales.

Not a bad start to the day.

One reason i say this is - my new brown knee high boots - pics of the beauties will be on the next post as the wire i need to upload is at work :-( Oh well.
I also got a sexy silk green dress alongside various other things. I am trying to prepare an outfit for my friends 21st.

However after i bought the dress she told me the theme was now sexy biatch!!!!! - What a joker!
So now i have to go back out tomorrow or the day after i get paid and buy a pair of hot pants and a tank top. I think i will go for the lara croft side of things - tight tight tight!!!

I am open to suggestions on what should be worn for this event?!?!?!?!? - Not too dirty please!!

So what to do tomorrow i wonder??

Before i go i must mention a couple of phone calls to the illustrious Robert Mack - My personal Mr America - I haven't spoken to someone so comfortably for a while and it is nice to know there is someone so down to earth and laid back at the end of the phone to make you laugh.
So Mr Mack - just so you know love ya lots hun x x x

AS TIME GOES BY. . .

So people, how are things??

The purpose of this post is to reflect on the past months goings ons and to update all of you lovelies of course.

Due to lack of enthusiasm to actually come on the net at work and no net at home at the moment, my blog seems to have stagnated. Hopefully i can rectify this problem - unfortunately i am not sure how effective my attempt may be!!!
So...


Last blog Friday October 6th '06
So just over a month ago i suffered from a terrible case of writers block. Along with my lack of enthusiasm to come on the net as i said before the block seems to have continued throughout the month.
There could be another root to the problem and that is that i sometimes have so much to say and have nowhere to put it so it just goes to waste.

Let me get on with things as i am already starting to bore myself . . .

Middle of October was well on its way with the COLD COLD COLD weather.
Halloween would be arriving soon and the autumn party season would begin. Well it should have done but i was to busy in bed sick! Lucky me.
On top of the bad news of not being able to make appearances at some usual haunts - i got dumped.
YES LADIES AND GENTS - I GOT SHAFTED and not in the dirty sense of the word.
After 3 years of working at a long term relationship - it all just ends in a nutshell.
It really just made me feel like i shouldn't have bothered put all the time in - but i couldn't help it as i love him and still do.
It will take a while to get over it but it will happen in time - for now my lovelies i am single and not really sure what to do with myself?!?!
Do i go out on a sex binge or do i just take things as they come?
My angle of things will probably lead to taking things as they come as i really am not in the mood to get hurt.
There are some couples around the globe that look so happy - that is how we used to be.
We used to walk down the street and people would look at us and think "They are PERFECT for each other"

OK sorry to cut of the sad story off but i don't really feel to get upset at work - so maybe when all is over a done.

On the upside of things i did my security course and i got top marks so i will soon be (when i receive my license) a bouncer.
No free entry to clubs promised lol!!
For some reason i am really pleased with myself as when i was in school i used to fail most exams miserably but this one not only did i pass but i got the highest mark in my class. Look at me all studious and all.
Joking lol.
But i am really happy for myself as i dont really have to worry about work when i go back to uni next year.

Whilst writing all of the above i am racking my brain to find something juicy to tell you but nothing really interesting has happened to me in the past month - i really need to get out more.
I just seem to work, eat, exercise (not going so well) and sleep.

Oh i must say i give a HUGE efforts and results award to (drum roll please) Mr Robert Mack.
I wish i had the same will power as you. I will keep trying and hopefully by christmas only one month away peoples i will have something to report back.


Well on this note i better get back to work and maybe just MAYBE something interesting may happen.
I think i am going out tonight so that may liven things up?!?!?!
